The ‘Favorite Candy’ poll is formatted in a series of elimination polls. The present poll is the fourth round in an ongoing series until a favorite candy is determined. The present round will expire on Oct. 15.

All candies listed in the present poll survived the first three rounds. In the first poll, there was a high of 34 votes for Gummy Bears and a low of 3 with many tied at that number. In the second round, Heath and Twix tied for the high at 22 whereas several candies tied for last with 6 votes. In the third round, Twix led with 16 votes and several had 0 votes. All remaining candies start the fourth round with zero votes. Voters in the first round had a choice of up to 15 selections, in the second round 12 selections, 9 selections available in the third round, and 7 in the fourth round.

Previous candies that were eliminated in the third round with 0-4 votes were 3 Musketeers, Abba-Zaba, Airheads, Bit-O-Honey, Candy Corn, Charleston Chew, Chick-O-Stick, Dots, Fruit Gushers, Hershey’s Kissables, Jelly Beans, Jelly Belly, Jolly Ranchers, Kit Kat, Krackel, Laffy Taffy, M&Ms (Peanut Butter), M&Ms (Pretzel), Mike and Ike, Orange Slices, Raisinets, RedVines, Riesen, Sour Patch Kids, Toblerone, Twizzlers, and Werther’s Original.

Previous candies that were eliminated in the second round with 6-7 votes were Caramello, Dum Dum Drops, Everlasting Gobstopper, Fun Dip, Gobstoppers, Godiva, Hershey’s Cookies ‘n’ Cream, Lemonhead, Life Savers Gummies, Nerds, Nestle Crunch, Pop Rocks, Snickers (Peanut Butter), Tootsie Pops, Violet Crumble, and Wonka Bar.

For Round 4, the bottom 35% will be eliminated on Oct. 15. The first two polls were one month in duration. The remaining polls will last one week each.
